So many details! Packing for 10 days is crazy. I’m afraid I’ll forget something I need for training!
Honestly, I don’t know what to expect in training except that we will be pushed physically and spiritually.
I’m grateful for a God who is in the details. He doesn’t forget a thing. Even when my heart is feeling overwhelmed and my brain feeling foggy, He is there beside me, reminding me to take things one at a time.
This week I took my tent out for the first time to set it up and take it down. It’s awesome! It’s so easy to pitch and take down and has the coolest rain-fly ever! I ordered more gear and only have a little left to get…which I need to get on because training camp is only 8 days away!!! O_o
This week I also announced the fundraiser dinner for my trip fund! I’m super excited about it and would love to see everyone there! I will be having the fundraising dinner on Sunday, November 1st at Summit church, 10204 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg, Ohio, 44087!!!! Tickets are (suggested minimum) $15/person. If this is too much for your family, please talk to me or my mom. We want everyone who can, to attend! Each person may choose either chicken paprikash or pork tenderloin as the main course. Appetizer and dessert included! (Kid option available) Please reserve your plate so we can get numbers on what to get! Food cost is being covered by a generous heart, so all proceeds will go directly to my trip fund. Seating times are 12:30 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. Please include your preferred seating time in your RSVP.
We would love to do a Chinese auction. If you or anyone you know would like to donate baskets or items to be raffled, please contact me or my mom as soon as possible!! (Preferably no later than October 25th)
You can donate through my blog (the “Support me!” button) to buy your ticket in advance, otherwise you can buy it at the door with cash or check. Either way, please let me or my mom know if you will be coming, how many will be coming, the seating time preference, and the food choice of those attending. If you buy yours in advance, please message me on Facebook, or email me at [email protected] or my mom at [email protected] with your RSVP so we can put your name on a list and have your ticket ready at the door! You can also email either of us if you or someone you know has items they are donating for the Chinese auction.
I want to thank everyone again for the love and support they have shown. It has blessed me more than I can truly explain. I thank God for each and every one of you. I’m grateful for your partnership on this calling God has on my life. It took me by surprise, and things have had to be pulled together rather quickly, but you guys have jumped right in and are allowing God to use you to make this possible!
