Month 6 – Albania
Albania was a month where we were blessed to enjoy the simple things in life. We lived in a tiny village called Gorre, which was about a 30 minute drive from the nearest town. We spent our time befriending the youth in the community and helping out in the church. We would host youth groups and hangout with the kids at the local coffee shop. It was a beautiful month of loving others with simple acts of kindness and demonstrating what it looks like to live in a Gospel-centered community.
Our village was just a tiny blip on the road. There wasn’t a bus stop or any form of local transportation, so to go anywhere we had to hitchhike!
