I wanted to give you a little video update so I have attached this little one from our time in the village repairing the Children’s Club at Source Matelas.
Other random things:
- I met a Chicken in Church who was eating Cheetos. (And there may have been a tarantula on the wall during English lessons but I tried not to look at it…pretending it’s not there)
- At 5:30am I went to do Laundry in the dark with my little Penlight. I got to the Laundry shack and screamed as I found a dark figure sitting by my wash basin holding a shotgun. Once I got my heart back in my chest I found that it was one of the guards and we laughed about it for a while.
- I found myself really filled by the Spirit during a song on Tuesday night service. It said “Onksyon an kouvri mwen, Se pou tout pouvwa, Sentespri a kouvri mwen.” I wrote it down for translation and later found out that it loosely translates to, “Fill me with your power, Spirit Fill me.” WHAT?!?!?! God speaks Creole too you know!
