You see this face?  This is my “AHHHH!  How do you pack 11 months worth of life in a backpack and a duffle?” face.  And it was a giant game of Tetris with my mother.  BUT really, Tetris is a game that you can never win.  The whole point of the game is to see how slowly you will lose.

I don’t know if I won or lost this game, but I do know that I sure have a heavy pack…that may be tricky to repack if TSA decides to peek in it.

As far as things are going at home.  I have been enjoying a little time with family.  I have gotten to see just about everyone in PA, MD, and OH.  And I have eaten way too much food!  I keep having my “lasts” before I leave.  Last mall pretzel, last cheesecake, last zucchini casserole, last peach cobbler.  I think I will be too heavy for the airplane again if I keep this eating up!  HAHA!

But at the moment, I am mostly packed.  I opened my Christmas gifts early in front of a little tree.  And my brother and I are off to Toledo to celebrate Mama’s birthday tomorrow (her b-day is on the 7th but since I leave on the 6th, we are doing it early.)

I may write again from Atlanta while training with my team, but in case I don’t get to do that, I will land in Haiti on the 9th and will write as soon as possible.  Is this really happening?
