Update on the past
week and a half …
We united as a squad for a week long fast from electronics with monitors
Were blessed by three days with our squad leaders Phil & Christy ( I adore them both)

Met up with our squad to travel to Moldova together
Stayed overnight in Bucharest with the squad
Said goodbye to our first month and Romania
Took a 13 hour train ride overnight to Moldova

Learned about squatty potties (while on the moving train)
Remembered how Amazing the hearts of my squad are
Stayed in a Moldovan hostel with the squad
Broke-off with 2 other teams & traved to N. Moldova
said goodbye to the squad for a month
Loaded onto a train for an interesting 6 hour train ride

Experienced the thrill of the language barrier as we were kicked out of our seats on the train
Attempted to maneuver on a train with my pack and bags
Was hand fed a grape by a young Moldovan man while I stood helpless due to the luggage I was holding
I say all of this to update you on the past week, and to explain that life has been a bit hectic
??But what about the time God
wanted with me??

So… of course God had a few words for me
Are you letting me talk?
You are asking, But are you listening?
I arrived in Moldova knowing I needed to
listen
Then
This Past Saturday we arrived at our ministry site for
Moldova. The Village is in Northern Moldova and
located in beautiful a valley. Our ministry here
is helping people prepare for winter and working at a
rehabilitation center.
After settling in our contact took us for a hike up
the mountain that sits just a few feet from our house.
From the start I was READY TO GO!
Ready to climb
Ready to power up the hillside
It was activity, motion, exercise
After several days of sitting and traveling, it was just what i
needed
Something that I could power through and then look
back on with pride and accomplishment, PERFECT!
Clearly a wonderful time for God to teach me a
lesson
As I started my hike I asked God to talk to me
so He did
Slow down
You wanted to hear from me….slow down
Why are you going so fast?
You are missing out

TAKE A MINUTE TO TAKE IN MY MAJESTY
The valley we are living in this month
I created ALL of this and you are MISSING OUT
You go too fast
You are too focused on the results and the beauty of
the victory to seethe beauty of the climb
Insert Life Application
Too often I go through struggles and time of growth with my
focus on the results. I want to feel God’s love, but I am so
focused on the result, I’m not taking in the process. I want to
hear God, but I am too busy trying to find Him to listen.
I’m being taught patience in this, and I think I’m going to
enjoy it!
After several breathtaking stops I reached the top
The view was Astounding
The cross that awaited us at the top of the climb

Keep stopping
Keep looking-out upon what I have done
Process the journey
Enjoy
The victory will be sooo much sweeter if you have
really taken the time to see the journey for all it is.
