There a variety of questions that life throws at you, some of which may have a fairly easy answer and others that may take a lifetime. Besides who you are or why you are here, what is it that you are doing with who you are and why you are here?
What purpose have you found? To life, your life?
Maybe you have found a purpose through your family, either by having one or being the foundation to the one you were born into. Maybe it’s your job. Whether it be a routined, nine to five, endless paperwork job or a twelve hour, exhausting, demanding job.
Maybe, just maybe, you found your purpose with a simple hobby.
But in all honesty, it is to no concern of anyone else what purpose you have found to your life. And I mean this in a general outlook, without a religious or political bias.
I was confronted recently by an acquaintance that ‘…you’re only clinging to Christianity because you can’t find purpose in life…’
But personally, I do not have a life of my own to find a purpose to.
I gave my life to God and He gives me purpose.
Whatever it is you have found to hold on to in this earthly life, whatever it may be that you dedicate yourself to, if it has a positive change on not just yourself but everyone around you and in the end you leave this a better world because of it, it is worth every struggle, every confrontation and it is worth every single doubt you overcame.
Do not let anyone tell you that you shouldn’t or that you can’t. Do not let anyone tell you that you are wrong because what you are doing is ‘…superficial fluff…’ in their eyes.
Be sure not to judge those who try to say these things to you, those who try to bring you down because it is not on you to do so.
We, as children of our Lord, ‘…don’t need to raise 16k to love your neighbor…’
The truth that sentence holds is immense. Money is of no matter when it comes to love and to love everyone through our Father.
Unfortunately we are surrounded by a world of greed and we take all of the things we have for granted. So our neighbor, whether they are next door, in the next city, in the next state or in the next country, they may not have the access to hear the word of our God, to feel the love of our God, to share in the joy that is our God.
So…
We will raise 16k.
We will travel the nations.
We will spread the good news of His Kingdom.
We will love our neighbor just as He loves us.
We will save the lost souls, the trapped souls, the ones who don’t know anything but.
We will let Him do all the work through us.
Because with God, everything is possible.
So push forward, go straight ahead, keep your chin up and don’t let anyone say that you can’t.
