Hi everyone, right now I’m in the Bangkok airport, JeT’s first travel day via planes! We just spent an awesome LDW (think mini debrief) at OverFlow, where we spent our last debrief. Since the last time I wrote I don’t feel like I have a lot more to say.
I’ve been able to write recently and that’s been such a blessing.

We’re heading into Bali, Indonesia. Pray for us as there is apparently some civil unrest at an island near us. Oh, and according to Google, the volcano Agung on Bali has been erupting and so we may or may not be able to fly in according to schedule. But our flight to Jakarta remains on schedule so that’s awesome.

And in other important news, we have some new friends to welcome to our team for the month. AIM’s Exposure program allows recent high school grads to try out the Race for a month and so our Month 10, Bali, Indonesia, we’ve got three of these girls headed out to spend some time with us. Should be a fun month. They’ll meet us in Bali (probably) and we’ll proceed to ministry from there.

Most likely, we will have limited wifi this month, so if you’ve been in more regular contact with me, that will probably be decreasing for the time being. Good news though, if you’re on East Coast time, I will be a perfect 12 hours ahead of you again and so whatever the time is for you, that’s the time for me too, just switch a. m. to p. m. or vise versa.

I don’t think I have anything else to tell you, so . . .

Today I have eaten:

Goldfish – I found them in Phenom Penh, but because I was so good about eating them sparingly, I had to eat a bunch for breakfast today.

Eggs and toast and watermelon, thanks to the awesome Overflow staff

Subway (eat fresh) – cause we’re in an airport and there’s things from home! – steak and cheese melt on Parmesan and Oregano bread, 12 inches. And yes, I’ve already eaten all of it.

I also got some water because Thai customs made me dump the rest of mine. Bummer.

Iced Chocolate from Starbucks! Shout out to the super smily Nanni who gave me extra whip!

A sip from someone’s OJ

A different sip from a drink Kasie got from Dairy Queen – tasted like a Jolly Rancher

Oh yeah, and I definitely a small blizzard from DQ in Siem Reap. Double Chocolate; it was awesome, go ice cream!

One McDonald’s fry, courtesy of Lynden because I’m writing all of this to you right now.

Okay, I think that’s all. Please keep us in your prayers so we can get to Bali! See you on the island!

Love,
TL
