“It’s about whatever you want,” they said. “Just talk about you,” they said.

This is of course, one of the most difficult prompts to address. And now, like any good writer, here I am staring at a blank text box and an equally blank mind.

I never really feel like there’s a lot to tell about me, but once I get started, I never seem able to stop. I am the second oldest in a family of six. I was raised as a Christian, but didn’t decide to own it until about 10th grade and now my relationship with Christ is the most important part of my life, whether I am consciously aware of the fact or not.

My Myers Briggs will tell you that I am an introvert, but I personally consider myself an ambivert. One of my favorite activities is anything with the people that I love and who have made themselves a part of my family. On the other hand, I also find immense enjoyment from slipping wholly into the world a good book presents to me.

I have traveled a little before, but nothing like the Race. I’m so incredibly excited to see the people and do the work God has laid out for me to do. I can’t wait to live the adventures in front of me on this wild ride and meet the people with whom I will be practicing Kingdom work for the next year (and hopefully longer)! But mostly, I just want to see what God has for me in this next year; what will I learn, how will I grow closer to him and his Spirit, and what will our relationship look like on the other side?

I’m sure there’s more to tell, I’m just not sure what’s pertinent at this time. I suppose I will be seeing you all again soon! Thanks for reading!
