Welcome to my World Race!
Here is where you can keep up with anything related to the race as I prepare for this long journey over the next year and while I’m on the field from August 2016 through June 2017. If you want to follow my journey you can simply click “Subscribe for Updates” on the left and fill in your email.
So… what actually is The World Race?
The World Race is an 11 month mission trip across 11 different countries around the world. We will be staying 1 month in each country and serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities doing whatever God is calling us to do in that area. This includes planting churches, caring for children in orphanages, loving and ministering to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and sharing the love and truth of Jesus.
For me, it is even more… It is a chance to walk the road less traveled, to disconnect from the demands of this materialistic world. A chance to learn to live wholehearted rather than finding satisfaction in stuff. A chance to find God’s specific calling for my life. A chance to fix my eyes on Him and only Him.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.” – Romans 12:2
