It is the moment we have all been waiting for (or at least what I have been super excited about)… when I tell you about my new family! :]
I personally believe that this team was formed solely on the power of prayer! For 2 days, our time as a squad [We are Q-Squad which consists of 40 people heading out on the WR in September] was filled with “experimental teams” where we were split up into smaller teams of about 6 or 7 people to see how we work together through various team building activities. I knew that our squad would have one all women’s team and secretly I wanted to be on it, but I never really shared that desire with anyone. I love women’s ministry, so when you get a group of women together, my heart goes wild because I think it is just absolutely amazing! (no offense to you men out there though…I do love you too!)
So when my name was announced for the all women’s team, all I could do was smile, cry and be reminded that God knows the desires of our hearts and He knows the plans He has for us. I look back and wonder why in the world I was so worried about the team that I would be placed on when our God had it all under control the entire time!
So saying all of that, I would like for you to meet…

We have bonded over molten lava cakes, ice cream, beat box raps and of course shopping! And just wait until you hear what all we accomplished through the power of Jesus Christ together as a team only 2 days after meeting each other! It will blow your mind on the power of Christ!!! It has definitely changed the way that I live life and do ministry. **Since it is so incredible and I would love to share the details with you, it will happily have a blog of its own soon. 🙂
I know that I am a part of an amazing team of beautiful women of God! We absolutely LOVE laughing with one another…so joyful! I never thought that you could grow so close to people within 9 days. They aren’t only my friends, but they are my encouragers, my sisters, and my sharpeners. They will see me in the good, the bad and the ugly but will somehow choose to love me anyways. I am so excited to live life with them this next year! And I have a feeling that they are going to be around a LOT longer than that. 🙂 This is going to be an amaaaazing year!
