Just to clarify………I am absolutely in love with Jesus =]

It hasn't always been that way though [but it's such a good story! crocodile tears, belly laughin' and "wait, what did she just say?" kind of story] I've moved all over this beautiful country, from North Carolina, to Kentucky, to California, to Virginia, and finally, the beautiful Tennessee. Did you guess it? I am the daughter of a Marine.
Without a doubt I have a wonderful job at Victoria's Secret and I will be graduating this December with a Design, Merchandising and Textile degree. OH, I have more amazing friends than my little fingers and toes could ever count! All compliments of Jesus.

My awesome, supportive dad

My mommy and stepdad, how lucky am I?!

The sister so nice, she's in here twice

And my favorite kid in the whole world.

Background Check:

Like I said previously, this girl didn't always love Jesus. Two divorces, five states and eleven different schools by the age of 20 can be a lot for a girl without Christ to handle. Very little did I know, God was trying to get through to me. In April 2008, I was hired at Victoria's Secret while in my sophomore year at Western Kentucky University. These young ladies quickly became my family, the store quickly became my second home and the office and my boss quickly became therapeutic and my therapist. I spent almost three years coming in with all the problems a young college girl could have [you name it, I committed it] looking for answers from my 'all-knowing' boss. I'd always leave feeling good but it was only temporary. Finally, [here comes the good part] I had hit the bottom of the bottom, I had crossed the line, I was in big trouble. I needed more answers! I came to work early that day in a panic, walked right into our office expecting another session but received much more. I'll never forget it, she put it so simply…

"Carmen, I can no longer give you any advice…"

say what???

She pulled out her bible, smacked it on the side of my head and said "JESUS is the only answer, girl!"

Long story short, I found Jesus Christ at Victoria's Secret and five months after this wonderful moment I was baptized! And don't worry, my boss didn't actually smack me with a bible, not saying I didn't deserve a good holy smack though.

Colleen Polcer, [you may know her as my boss, I now refer to her as my momsmiley] baptized me this March and the past several months have been one blessing after another.

My amazing VS staff came to witness my baptism!

The past year of my life has been a dramatic up and down roller coaster. Several relationships were severed, some were temporarily paused and others were and still are strained. But I received so much more! And I praise God for every moment before and ahead! PTL!!
