So here it is, the long overdue blog about good ole training camp…

& sorry future racers but i ain't givin ya too many details.
trust me…it'll be better going in without knowing =]

It's been almost two weeks since I've been home and I still find myself daily processing the events of training camp. Seriously, Ill be zoned out at work thinking about that beautiful morning at breakfast where I witnessed my teammate fail not once, not twice but three times to swallow fish head soup (future WRers, don't let this scare you, just do it.) This is when my first expectation was murdered.
'What expectation is that?' you ask..
Oh, the one where you don't expect to see your sisters meal after you swore it was digested…no big deal.

I'd really love to go into details about camp, mainly because I'm almost tired of talking about it in person and would just rather give out the link to my blog (I learned to be honest at camp, ha) but lets get real…I have zero skills in keeping anyones interest that long online.
So I'll sum it up in one word.

And that word is "whoops".

Whoops…I did not realize how spoiled I am.

Whoopsie…I did not know just how MUCH darkness I was hiding.

Whoops..I did not notice how terrified I am of my own God written testimony.

WHOOPS….How did I NOT see that sin in my life??

Whoopsie..I never realized I skipped grieving on a lot of things in 24 years.

Whoops….I am SO beyond weak.

Whoops…Did I just try to deny you in my brokenness?

Whoopsie….I just tried to take control of that situation

Whoops…I just lied.

Whoops…I just lied again, dang.

Whoopsie….I just attempted to win acceptance from my team. MY FRIENDS. My new family.

Whoops….it seriously, isn't about me

Needless to say, I received a lot during camp.

Despite my minor details, I will give this one warning, to any future world racer: Think twice before sitting at the outside tables, the ones without the umbrellas, at meal time. Georgia has a lot of birds and not enough napkins =]

And this would not be a training camp blog if I didn't add pictures of my AMAZING District H Squad!! AKA SQUAD WAR CHAMPS, thats whats up!!!

Last but most definitely NOT LEAST, I introduce to you the seven amazing brothers & sisters that make up Team Kingdom Come: Neysa, Meghan, Kat, Liz, Ryan & Bryan (who is a good driver I promise, mom) I am SO blessed by these guys, looking forward to serving alongside them for 11 months!
