For one of our weeks of ministry here in Nepal my team and I went and taught English at a Hindu preschool.

Our ministry host has a close relationship to the preschool and he has been actively helping and volunteering at the school himself. He thought it would be a neat way to indirectly share the gospel of Jesus and to share the love of Christ to both the faculty and children of the school.

Our ministry host kinda looked like Johnny Depp.

In just that week We became friends with many of the teachers and were able to talk about our faith and pray with some of the teachers

A few of the teachers are actually in school to become flight attendants and have goals to work at Qatar airlines, and they had a big final exam coming up and we were able to pray for them. Along with other struggles they face in Nepal.

So we were volunteer teachers but every single one of them knew that we were Christians.
Many of them were very open with us and had many questions about Christ and we were able to share.

No one specifically came to Christ that week but What I’m learning here is sometimes we don’t always see the fruit of our labor, because sometimes we don’t see what God is doing behind the scenes. But that doesn’t mean that he isn’t working.
You don’t know when a person will come to accept Christ, it might take several contacts of people who are Christians or circumstances in that persons life for someone to make that decision. Or sometimes it might be instantly.
Sometimes it can be frustrating to me if I don’t see the fruit, and it might be frustrating for you as well who share with your family and friends back home who don’t believe. But trust and pray that God will send people to plant seeds, to do the watering, and to watch the plant grow.
He will provide the harvest. Remember that
