We started with a bus a bus ride from Colombia to Ecuador, roughly 46 hours of travel.

we shoveled rocks & dirt at the foundation of a new church in South Quito ! This is after we finished!

We also got to go to Cayambe and hand out Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes

This was such an amazing experience. Packing them back home and than seeing the results of that in Ecuador. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces as they were filled with excited before, during, and after opening their boxes. I would encourage everyone to pack a shoebox this Christmas, because the effects are truly amazing whether you get to see them or not.

We got to help with with the children’s program at church. This is Mateo, he is 4 years old and I was able to spend the entire time with him during my last Sunday in Ecuador.

We also got the opportunity during our last week to go into a school and teach English for two days and on the third day we got Carnivaled, which is their holiday/festival where they cover each other in water, raw eggs, flour, foam, and colorful powder (at the school just water, foam, and flour)

We had debrief in Baños, where we got Carnivaled again, when we wanted to and especially when we didn’t want to.
Ecuador was good, God is doing great things there and through Isaiah 61 International (the ministry we were working with). Please pray for this ministry, as they have different church plants, as they are trying to fundraise to finish the building process on the new church, and for the community, that they would be open to hearing & accepting the Gospel.
