Okay…I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what it means to really “live like Jesus did”. SO often I get caught up in having the right words to say or the right argument for why someone should come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior…what I’m coming to find out is that ITS ALL ABOUT LOVING PEOPLE! I am learning that Jesus was all about being a friend of the sinners and hanging out with the unlikely…he was about relationships…he commands us to Love God and Love Others…wow…that idea is totally knocking my socks off because it seems SO SIMPLE! and honestly I think it is…so even though I haven’t been to Seminary or Bible School or have all the “right answers and arguments” all the time….I can be confident because I CAN love God and love People….so just some lessons I’ve been learning…it’s definitely been an encouragement for me to know that through simply loving people as Jesus did…people’s lives are changed and incredible things happen…hopefully that encourages you as much as it does me!!
Updates on the trip….
Fund raising is currently around $600…I need $1,000 by June 10th and $7,000 by August 1st!! I got an opportunity share at my church this past Sunday and it was such an awesome thing to be supported by my church family…I’m so thankful for them! I will be speaking at a few other churches this summer hopefully and am following through with a few other fund raising events TBA….
Thanks again for your continued prayer support….please pray that God be preparing the way for our team in each country before we even arrive….please also pray that God’s hand be in the decision making process as the AIM staff arranges our teams together!
