Malaysia is incredible already. We made it safely to Kuala Lumpor, Malaysia last night. We got in by airplane and then took a train to a church where we stayed a night on the floor with all of the girls on our squad. A few friends and I were able to explore this incredible city last night and Im pretty sure it’s in my top 10 favorite cities in the world, it’s INCREDIBLE. I’ll post pics again later.
We are leaving this afternoon for our first ministry site in Port Kalang. We will be working with migrant workers from many nations including Nepal and Myanmar. We will be volunteering at an International Food Festival and living in a church where we will do ministry this coming Sunday. We are very very excited about this opportunity. The other update is that the women and men have been split this month- though that does not directly affect my all girl team it does mean that instead of a 6 person all girl team now we are a 12 person all women’s team. I have the amazing privilege of leading this 12 person powerhouse. We’re going to do incredible things and learn so much during this month serving together!
We will stay in Port Kalang until Monday and then travel north to Palang/Butterworth…yes we’re living in the city of Butterworth 🙂 We dont know what ministry will look like for the last two weeks in Palang. Then off to Thailand for Christmas! We will be traveling today so please pray for travel safeties and then again on Monday. Please pray for protection and unity and good communication within our team and between myself the team leader and our contacts! Thanks!! Blessings everyone!
