Friends and Family!
I apologize for the delay in updating this blog, its been long over due. I’ve been teaching this year at a local elementary school in 4th grade and boy have I been BUSY! Tomorrow is the last day of school for the school year so now I have time to update you on all that God has miraculously been doing in my life!
Below is a copy of the support letter that I recently sent out to friends and family! If you havent read it yet please check it out!

You may be asking….where’s she been?
Well, as many of you know I was blessed to have the chance to travel to 11 nations over 11 months serving as a missionary in a variety of ways on The World Race. Since returning home last August, I have been resting, adjusting to being back in America, and teaching 4th graders at a local elementary school in Ashland. As I’ve been home I have been simply unable to get the country of Nepal off of my heart and mind. Through a series of events I was led to an incredible organization ministering in Nepal called Tiny Hands International. (www.tinyhandsinternational.org)
Why Nepal?
Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world, and the situation among its children is heartbreaking. Over 5,000 children live on the streets in Kathmandu (Nepal’s capital), and as many as 10,000 girls and young women are trafficked across the border into India each year.
Tiny Hands International is a Christian Non-Profit Organization who are committed to finding the greatest injustices in the world and working toward bringing relief to those living under its oppression–especially orphans, street children, and the victims of sex trafficking. The Lord is using Tiny Hands International to be the Light that brings about Kingdom change in Nepal through the love of Jesus.

What will I be doing?
As I learned more about Tiny Hands’ kingdom values the Lord reminded me of the people I had met in Nepal, the street children I had held, the widows I had prayed with, and the churches I had led in worship. I decided to find out how to get involved. This past March I was hired by Tiny Hands. I will be working at Livingston Academy as a missionary teacher to provide a quality education to the orphaned and abandoned children that live in their children’s homes.
I Cannot Do This Alone!
Since this is a full time missionary position, I will be raising yearly support. My yearly budget, including an annual visit home to hug all of you, will total $15,000. I have made at least a four-year commitment to Tiny Hands provided that the Lord continues to confirm my yearly calling to this ministry. My ticket to Nepal is purchased when I am 90% support raised ($13,500) for my first year.

Though I wish I could pack all of you up in my suitcase for the move, I know I cannot. What I can do however is ask each of you whom I love greatly, to consider “making the move� with me by committing tooffering up MANY needed prayers, reading my blogs, and maybe even by opening up your checkbooks. I believe the Lord has great things to do in Nepal and has a part for me to play in this process, but I simply cannot do it alone. I believe that together we CAN make a difference in the future of these children in Nepal all for the glory of Jesus!
