Creative title, I know. But I dont have much time, so I thought I’d give a little update….

This past week the squad regrouped in Nairobi, Kenya for a debrief. Some AIM staff came out to pour into us and give us some teaching, as well as debrief what the first four months of the Race have been like. It was a crazy week. In more ways than one.
A few things to highlight:
1. I got baptized! In a bathtub. In Kenya. It was so legit. Seriously one of the sweetest moments of my life.
2. Due to some changes in my team, I have become team leader. That was unexpected let me tell ya. And now that I think of it I’m not sure if I mentioned the team changes that happened before Nepal. In case I didnt, here are there blogs. Check them out, they’re amazing people!

So thats been a huge transition for me. More responsibilities. More things to be aware of. A new season of dependence and trust in the Lord to walk into. I’m excited. Its a privilege to lead these people and I cant wait for what the Lord is going to do.
So now, we’re in Bungoma, Kenya working with International Growth Church (or Growthways Ministries). Already we feel like family to the pastor and his wife who have so graciously welcomed us into their home. This church is absolutely amazing. So full of the Spirit and the Lord’s favor. Its going to be an epic month for sure!
Hopefully I’ll be able to post a better blog soon, but for now this is all I got. Please be praying for me and my team. It feels so good to be back home in Africa.
Love,
