As I am laying in my bed just 2 days away from graduating nursing school the only thing that keeps running through my mind is the word “seasons”. Seasons of growth, seasons of change; seasons. As I am preparing to uproot my comfortable life from the past three years I have faith in this upcoming season. Before I embark on this new journey I would like to reflect on the things that have made my last three years so meaningful. These things I am most thankful for:

  • Jesus, your warm embrace
  • Sunsets from the Huffman Dam
  • Mom, your ever shining light
  • Dad, your love for our family
  • Cozy Blankets
  • Ana girl
  • Tate, for being my rock
  • Sunflowers
  • Josh, David, Martha
  • Hazelnut lattes
  • Kelsey, your encouraging words
  • Michael, never failing to make me laugh
  • The Starbucks employees
  • Belly laughs
  • Madi, my person
  • Engage City Church
  • The World Race
  • Squishy pillows
  • Ephesians 2:10
  • Thoughtful people
  • Music
  • Waking up before the alarm
  • Painting
  • The tunnels at WSU
  • Her Story
  • Warm weather in the winter
  • Embracing a hug
  • A really good workout
  • Target’s home section
  • WSU Nursing professors
  • You

I have SO much to be thankful for these past three years that this list doesn’t begin to cover. One thing I do know is

“If all I know of harvest

Is that it’s worth my patience

Then if You’re not done working

 God I’m not done waiting”.

Lord thank you. Thank you for this journey you have given me, may I have patience along the way knowing that you are not done working. May my heart stay open searching for your plans You have for me. Thank you for the seasons Father.

Amen

** Thank you to everyone who continues to love and support me along this journey! I am only $729 dollars away from being FULLY FUNDED and I could not have done it without YOU! **
