As I lay here in bed, away from Ometepe I can’t help but think about what stepping into the next season with the Lord has for me. I want to share a prayer that reflects on a few things He has already done.

Lord,
Thank you for patience. Thank you for allowing me to walk in patience with myself and with others.
Thank you for strength. Thank you for giving me the strength when things get hard, when I miss home and when I just don’t understand why I have to feel certain emotions.
Thank you for grief Lord. Thank you for being a God who doesn’t expect us to have it together all the time. Thank you for living in grief with us – for having felt grief yourself.
Thank you for love Lord. Thank you for allowing me to feel your abundance of love. Thank you for the love that I felt toward the people of Cicrin & Ometepe.

Thank you Lord. For stretching me. For allowing me to be intentional with you my first month here on the Race. You have taught me so much. I am so grateful.

Here is a short video that gives you a small glimpse into what my life has looked like this past month.
