I think about love often. It’s so simple, yet the world we live in today makes it seem so complicated. Considering Valentine’s Day was this week, it’s been a hot topic recently. Here’s what I have to say about LOVE.

Celebrate it. Love intensely, love wildly, love recklessly. Love without end, AMEN?! Seriously, it’s that easy. Love your life, love your people, and most of all, love the Lord because he loves you oh so much.

My dad shared a book with me recently, and the power of love is so visible in its words.

The mustard-seed mindset: Letting God plant you in the world so you can become a towering tree -one that represents faith, love, and the hope of God.

“Not everyone can do great things, but everyone can do small things with great love.” – Mother Teresa

The co-author of Outflow, Steve Sjogren, transformed those words into a battle cry for ordinary people who want their lives to make an extraordinary difference in the world. His enthusiasm resonates with me. I can’t do it all, but I can love big. So can you.

Steve said, “Small things done with great love will change the world!” I’m taking his advice, and I’m loving hard from here on out.

The World Race has taught me immense lessons about love (and I haven’t even launched yet). The generosity of my donors, the graciousness of my prayer warriors and the uplifting support of my squadmates is already sending me into overdrive. Have I mentioned how thankful I am and how much LOVE I have for you all?

If you’re reading this and I haven’t gotten the point across to you, know that I love you and I cannot wait to go shed more and more love on God’s children all across the globe.

Much love,

Carley
