‘Tis the season. My favorite season. The season of GIVING. Soon we will celebrate giving thanks and before you know it…we will all be giving gifts as we celebrate the birth of Christ. (Seriously y’all, the Christmas tunes are already on repeat and I’m dreaming of turkey and mashed potatoes as we speak…bring on the holidays!)

I want to use this post to outline, in more detail, the financial aspect of my World Race trip. I also want to again emphasize the great role you, as a potential donor, will play in my ministry. (If you so choose to participate in this season of giving!)

So, here’s the break down. This trip is entirely paid for through personal fundraising. While I will go on the trip with several other participants, we are all responsible for our own funds. My route costs a total of $19,200 per person and we work on fundraising deadlines.

Here they are: (all in 2019)

May 17:$5,000

July 18: $10,000

Sept. 30:$13,000

Nov. 30:FULLY FUNDED

*My training camp will be June 5-15 in Gainesville, Georgia, and my launch date is August 1!

Donation details: If you’re reading this, you should be able to see the BIG ORANGE donation button under my profile picture. Donating online is simple, but there are a few options.

If you feel called to do so, you can make recurring payments! If you become a recurring donor, I will get a confirmation email that tells me your status. Then we can work towards the goal together and when I am close to reaching my goal, I will let you know to stop your payments.

One-time payments are accepted as well. Seriously, every penny counts and I appreciate every single stinkin’ penny I receive – trust me!

If you’re old-school and would prefer to send a donation check, that’s cool too. Send all tax-deductible contributions to:

Adventures in Missions

    P.O. Box 742570.

    Atlanta, GA 30374

*be sure to indicate my full name on the check!

Lastly, if actual gift giving is your thing, and monetary donations to this organization are not….I will have plenty of personal expenses to prepare for this journey. Closer to launch, I may even post another blog specifically with details of gear and trip items I will need help supplying. With that being said, if you donate specifically to me instead of Adventures in Missions, I can decide how I want to allocate those dollars! (travel gear, vaccinations, toiletries, electronics…ect)

These two FAQ sections are really helpful in the decision making process if you’re considering donating! They help answer the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY AND HOW questions of money-handling through the World Race

Again, I hope you prayerfully consider donating to this cause, as I further His kingdom on the World Race.

Much love,

Carley
