Carley Kerice Travis. What do you need to know about her? Well for starters, I grew up in the “only Oblong,” IL. I am passionate about all things agriculture. Surprise surprise, considering I was raised among the rich corn and bean fields of central Illinois. I raise Simmental beef cattle and love advocating for the beef industry. I attended Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL to receive my associates degree in agriculture and now attend Oklahoma State University. I will graduate in May with a bachelors degree in agricultural leadership, prior to my World Race launch. What BETTER time than now to travel the world, right?!
I am participating in the World Race as a member of August Route 3. I am SO excited to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth. Growing up in a tight-knit, wholesome community, I learned the importance of love and support. My biggest desire is to spread that love as far and as wide as I can. Jesus is my rock and has done so many incredible things in my life and in my heart. I cannot wait to take this challenging adventure to test and grow my faith. I look forward to influencing others, while also learning from and among those in various World Race cultures!
