So here is what’s happening in this part of the world. On my birthday (September 05) I asked to Lord to show me the depths of His heart. To truly show me what it means to know Him deeply. As an answer to that prayer He showed me Moses and his time in the mountain and Jesus and his time in the wilderness. For the last month I have been wrestling with this concept in regards to 40 days and 40 nights. I kept asking and asking and asking what about that amount of days, what do they mean? What do I do with all those days? Well, I HAVE AN ANSWER!! And I feel like I must share with you all. Starting Monday I’ll go into what I like to call “40 days with the Lord”. This means I will basically go on this silent retreat with Him for 40 days. It’s not like I won’t be talking to people but it’s more of I will only talk to those I’m with. I won’t be active on social media or text or blogs. I want to make sure y’all know we’re good! We are on our way to Cyprus and by the time I’m back at the blog life I’ll be somewhere else. In the meantime I ask for your prayers. I’m nervous about this adventure that I’m about to embark on and eager to see what the Lord does. Please pray for open ears and for a heart that will dig deep into what He is trying to teach me. Please pray I remain faithful and seek Him as He calls me to do. I love you all and appreciate all of the support and prayers. They continue to make this time incredible.
