Every day lately I seem to be reminded of the fact that God uses everything and everyone in your life and he does it his way when he wants.
Yes, my awesome God can even use a snow drift ! A few nights ago I was drifting along on a very icy patch of road near my work and all of a sudden my car slid off into a snow bank. My first reaction as i huffed and puffed trying to get the car out of the snow bank is why me ?
Could it be Why me because I had my tires on from 5 years ago that are meant for driving in the Mojave ? Or maybe God just wanted to bless me and I have a really difficult time accepting anything.
My friend Lisa thankfully saw me heaving my car about in the snow and came over and pushed it out. I made it home safe but got a call from my sister who had gotten a report from my friend about my tires and my drift. Another thing did I mention I don’t tell anybody when I need help ?
Long story short yesterday afternoon I drove around on a brand new set of all weather tires compliments of the friend who pushed me out of the snow bank and my two lovely sisters.
Lessons
1) If you are going to live in the snow get tires for it
2) Swallow your pride; if you need help ask, if someone wants to bless you say thank you and then think of who you can bless, and everyone should have a friend strong enough to push your car out of a snow bank !
