It is easy to get discouraged to serve and not dee the fruit of your service even though you know God will do it. I find myself incresingly blessed to have gotten to see the fruit this month of both the ministry where we live and the ministry where we work.

I met a lady this weekend who cme to the ministry I live at 9 years ago as a 16 year old; she was beaten badly and had a one month old baby clutched in her arms. The ministry helped get her a place to live and helped her get enrolled in school. She just graduated massage school. She is legally blind but she brought her massage chair on the subway to give teenage mothers massages at the Mothers Day event this weekend.

Then last week our group did follow up calls from women that pthers had met at the clubs. 5 want mentors and 2 of the 5 no longer work in the clubs.

I have met several men this month that have turned away from the clubs and into Jesus. There stories give me hope as they share how God just totally removed there desire to go after having gone for years.

Then of course is our friend who came out of prostitution after 11 years who is now serving the Lord, working a normal job, loving her family, and getting married. We go to her wedding shower tomorrow.

Sometimes overcoming is an elaborate story sometimes it is not but it all starts the same way a yes.

Please pray for a parade of yes’s all week. YES TO God, Yes To Life, and Yes to Genesis’s (New Beginings)
Love you all, Carla Rose
