Today I read about a boy named Michael Angelo, age 3 ….occupation Sex Slave. Michael was sold by his own Parents and sadly this is a growing phenomenon.
I can’t imagine that a 3 year who is barely learning to walk and talk and just graduating from Huggies would be sold and held captive because of someones sick perversions….but sadly they are !
It is hard for me as an adult to fathom the atrocities of Human Trafficking but a 3 year old; how can one even imagine what goes on inside of them ? I have to think they miss their parents even though they are likely the ones that sold them, they miss their home often dirty and poor but home, and that
they would like to eat perhaps sleep.
When a good friend told me yesterday about the Volcano in Sumatra I automatically thought about the victims of human trafficking. In addition to children being sold by their own parents they are often captured after a natural disaster when they are alone and vulnerable.
Won’t you join me in praying for Michael Angelo’s family and others like him?
Won’t you pray that the sexual character of this world will change.. that the bands of wickedness, lust, perversion, sexual impurity, pornography, and the like that cause the drive in the Human Trafficking offenders will be destroyed and cast out ?
