Until this point in my life I’ve let myself believe I’m just an unremarkable girl from outside Cincinnati, Ohio. I’ve allowed the enemy to tell me I’m not old enough, mature enough, strong enough, or experienced enough to do something amazing with my life.
But I’ve come to see a life-changing truth! God tells us to be the salt and light! If we’re not preserving and enriching, choosing instead to stay inside the safe confines of our church walls, then what good are we as Christ followers?
At this point in my life, I’m ready to take the leap of faith. And believe me, this certainly is a leap of faith. Trying to juggle school and raise over $12,000 is terrifying. I’m afraid I won’t be able to raise the money and I’m terrified I won’t be able to achieve my goals. But if faith can move the mountains, let the mountains move, right? I’m ready to watch the mountains move and see the Lord’s handiwork through me and through the lives of others in this process! Praise God I get to go on this incredible adventure!
