This week I finally learned exactly which countries I have the opportunity to live, serve, and grow in the Lord in for nine months! I will be traveling to Botswana where there is the highest population of elephants in Africa – can’t wait! I will also be going to Malaysia where over 61% of the population is Islamic. The third stop on this incredible journey is Guatemala where my love for missions really began two years ago. I’m so blessed and excited that I get to hear beautiful and loved Guatemalan children try to pronounce “Carissa” again. It will truly sound like home to me.
Maybe the best part of this journey is that I will be traveling with some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in my life. Having the ability to skype and group message the people who I will be ministering with next year is one of the best gifts I could ever ask for. These people are going to change the world with their love for Christ and I’m so honored to be able to serve with them!
