Aloha!
My name is Carissa Wittig and I am a 20 year old currently living in Las Vegas. I was raised in Hawai’i and ever since I was young I had a heart for working with children, missions, and traveling. So I don’t think it surprised many people that I would be involved with the World Race.
Ever since I began traveling to Alaska for mission trips a couple years ago, I knew that missions was something I was extremely passionate about. Each year after leaving Alaska and saying goodbye to all the people I had grown so close to I continued searching for more and more ways I could spread God’s love. That’s when I happened to stumble upon the World Race. And the rest is history.
Other random facts about me:
-For my 18th birthday I flew to Tokyo and hiked Mt. Fuji
-I will completely admit to being a crazy cat lady
-I once got lost in Indonesia at 4 in the morning while trying to find dolphins
-I lived in Perth, Australia for 6 months
-I have an undeniable and uncontrollable love for God and can’t wait to share His love with as many people as possible!
