I meet a lady named Lilian on the streets of Dublin… this
dear lady had a beautiful baby and needed some lunch.  I had the opportunity to spend a bit of time with her and
her baby and pray for her.  That
day I saw her again by the main square down town and meet her two nieces.  I talked and laughed with Isabella and
Tania, I tried to talk to them about their dreams and hope-filled futures. This
family is from Romania and moved to Ireland to beg.

I ran into Lilian again days later.  This time she told Britney and I that
her baby was sick with a fever… we prayed for him and we both could sense peace
residing the Lord’s favour on this baby. I also ran into Isabella and Tania.  We spent about an hour together… shared
some more laughs, lunch and held hands.
During this ordinary time something extraordinary happened!

Tania was showing me her finger… and the first thing I
noticed was that she had a small scratch on her finger.  My immediate reaction was to kiss it
better.  So I kissed my fingers and
placed them on her little scratch.
As I looked again, the scratch was gone… in my mind’s eye I saw the little
scratch roll away like a water droplet rolls off your skin.

I was perplexed and calmly said – “it’s gone”.  I then proceeded to look at her finger
at whatever it was she was meaning to show me.  I think she was actually trying to show me her pretty fingernail.

We went along with the afternoon and I didn’t process or
think twice about what happened until later that day.  I was reflecting on the day and the sweet girls I got to
spend time with… and I remembered that little scratch that vanished.  I wasn’t sure if what my eyes saw was
really reality…

As I was walking to Trinity College in Dublin I tried to
tell my team mate Justin my experience…I was unsure of how my experience could
have been reality…

During our after dinner tea, Tracy and I were talking about
our day and I told her what happened with Isabella’s finger.  As I told Tracy, I knew that God had
healed that little scratch away, and that even though it seems crazy – I have
faith that God heals. I ‘m praising God -the healer!!
