To all you Blog Stalkers and World Race Wonderers:
First, we love you!
We love your comments and reposts. Knowing you’re reading our stories
encourages us to keep writing them. To keep living them.
It is strange but also strangely necessary to share my life
on the Race with you. Blogs give me a chance to share my journey and shed
light on the darkness in the world and in my own heart so it can’t stay hidden
anymore.

But it’s not enough to read blogs or wonder about what it
would be like to be on the World RaceGod is calling each of us to live a good
story. A story bigger than
ourselves. A story bigger than
anything we could craft on our own.
The time to start living that story is now! Time goes so
quickly. Just over a year ago I was a Blog Stalker/World Race Wonderer. Then I answered the nudge and desire
for something more. I wanted to live a life bigger than myself. I wanted to experience God in an
entirely new and exciting way. I wanted to live the John 10:10 life Id been promised
by the King of the Universe.

Before the Race started I thought 11 months was so long and
now I’m about to begin Month 7. It’s easy to look at that and say Wow 5
months to go, but really I’m feeling like “Dear me its already been 6
months!” The days can be long
but the months are so short. It
all goes by so quickly.
Don’t
put off living your own adventure
It might be the World Race (pray about it!) but it could be a
different trip. It could be
leaving for 11 months but it could be a shorter (or longer!). It could be stepping out in faith to better
love the community in which you already live. It could be mustering up the confidence to befriend a
co-workerloving them with a radical grace that can only come from the Father.

Living Gods adventure for you might not fit nicely into the
plans youve madein fact it probably wont! It might make your life a little whopper-jawed. But let it get whopper-jawed. The adventure is in the unknown. The adventure waits just beyond the comfortable;
when you choose possibility over familiarity.
Pray about it.
Spend time with God listening for what it is He has set before you. Each of our stories looks different but
we all have to take the first step.
God wont make you but I promise if you do, Hell meet you there.

I knew God would hold up His end of the bargain but I needed
to hold up my endI had to let go of security, of what other people would
think, of what I was supposed to be doing and jump!
I jumped not knowing for sure where I would land. I still dont know exactly where that
will be but the trip down is turning out to be one heck of a ride.
