Mama Rachel was devastated when she found out that she had tested positive for HIV.  In her shame, she didn’t tell anyone.  But she did pray.  She prayed for a miracle.

Then she found out she was pregnant.  So she prayed some more.

Around the same time, Pastor Celsus (our contact in Mwanza, Tanzania) was inspired to preach a sermon series on healing.  On the third Sunday, he heard the voice of the Lord, and he announced, “Someone here has been diagnosed as HIV positive.  But your faith has healed you.”  He did not know to whom the message was directed, but he was obedient in delivering it.

Mama Rachel was thrilled, and she shared her joy with Pastor – revealing for the first time that it was she who was dealing with the disease.  She returned to her doctor and – surprise, surprise (not really) – she tested negative!  She continues to test herself regularly, as part of her general check-ups, but both she and her baby daughter – who she named Miracle – are healthy!

Come and see what the Lord has done, He is the God of Miracles!
