The number $15,500 might look pretty big, especially since I am leaving in only 75 days for The World Race. Let's be honest, I think I've given people minor strokes when I've told them the number when they ask. And yes, I have been concerned over this number, but I have found that God can and will do amazing, wonderful, unbelievable things. Since my squad mates and I have started the 90 Day Bible Challenge, I've been able to see what amazing things God has done for his people in the Old Testament. So this number also seems very tiny, more like a rolling hill even.
I also know that God has blessed me time and time again with loving and amazing people in my life. I have felt an overabundance of support and love coming my way. I almost feel a bit guilty at times, but I have to remember that this financial and spiritual support is not ultimately for me but for God. I will be the hands and feet, but all the glory will be to HIM.
May 22nd I officially sent out all my support letters and began fundraising. As of today, I have raised 6,000!!! That is in less than one month!!! I have almost reached my next financial deadline for August 18th!!! I am so unbelievably grateful and thankful. I once again thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
