Cambodia. The no.1 children sex trafficking location in the world. Daily there are thousands of orphans and non-orphans sold into the child sex trade in this country. Around 70% of the children sold are sold by their mother. Abuse is rampant and accepted.

God sent Mark and Rhonda Benz, 9 years ago, to be parents to the orphans of Cambodia. They started a children's home called Bykota House. Special needs, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and neglect paint the stories of the children here. Some of their stories include being thrown off a roof, being found in a dump, found on the brink of starvation, abused, and no record of their existence. We don't even know how old some of them are.

While we have been here we have been in charge of teaching the middle school class and the 1st grade class. We have planned and prepared a multitude of crafts, games, lessons, and stories for them on Advent and fun Christmas themes.

The class I have been helping with is the middle school class. This is a picture that Rhonda took for the person who donated new towels to Bykota House:

It's easy to see why I am falling so in love with them!

We have also been a part of several after school activities. My favorite, so far, has been taking the special needs kids out to see the Christmas lights at the US Embassy. We weren't able to get out of the Tuk-Tuk (Cambodian taxi) due to the Embassy throwing a party, but we did get a chance to drive by them!

Thank you so much to all of my prayer and financial supporters! This has been a tough month, but a good month none-the-less! We love the kids here at Bykota House and Mark and Rhonda are doing incredible things.

There is a chance for financial support of any of the children here at Bykota House. You can sponsor a child (your choice of monthly donation), send gifts, send monetary donations, or supply any of the school needs. Please contact me if you're interested. This ministry is in need!

Peace.
