Picture this:

We arrived very late into the beautiful country of the Dominican Republic. As we started packing packs for 2 teams into a truck we were informed that after a 3 hour bus ride we would be fitting 15 plus people onto, in and holding onto the truck itself. As I hung off the back of the truck all I could do was look at the sky and how it was painted with stars I had never seen before. The lack of city light and cloud coverage set a gorgeous background for a 40 mph ride up the mountain while hanging off a truck and my team leader holding on to me for dear life with each curve we went through.
I hope you will be as excited as my team and I are for what I am about to tell you next!!
We finally got a definite answer on what our ministry will be once we hike the 4 plus hours into the mountains here in Padre Las Casas…are you ready?!?
We will be traveling to 11 different remote moutnainous villages to greet, share the gospel, and just love on the people that we come in contact with. We were informed that we will be the first "white people" any of these villages have ever seen before..it is quite possible they don't even have an idea of what the United States is or where we have come from. What an exciting challenge has been set in front of us for our first month on The World Race. These villages struggle with voodoo witchcraft and idolatry so please pray for our team as we enter some of the darkess places of the mountains to share the Light!
Thank you all for praying for our safe arrival and I know you will continue to pray for us as we share our hearts and what Christ has done for us!!
Dios Les Bendiga!!
