As a World Racer I am on 1 of 4 squads leaving in July! I am on Q squad Route 1. There are around 50 people on my squad in which we will be going through debriefing with and be traveling with at the beginning and end of the month. On our squad we are split up into smaller teams within the country in order to accommodate the ministry space and get the most accomplished in each country. I am a team leader of an all girl team with 6 members. These women and I will become a family in the next year! We will live in the same quarters and basically be together 24/7. I am more than excited to get to know these amazing woman closely and learn from them. Our team name is Mosaic. A Mosaic by definition is a surface decoration made by inlaying small pieces of variously colored material to form pictures or patterns. In summary a Mosaic is a beautiful piece of art made from small broken pieces of many other arts. As a Mosaic our team members are 6 very different and unique woman that all have the same goal. All of us as individuals have so much to offer the kingdom and are designed perfectly in a role for Gods work.We all come together to make one team with one goal to make a beautiful work of art. I can't wait to see the dynamics in this team and how God works us together and how these 6 individual pieces become one beautiful piece of art. We are leaving for The World Race in 8 days and my emotions are all across the board. I am nervous to leave behind my comforts, scared that life goes on for others in the U.S. as mine goes on in other countries, and excited that God is doing so much in me and that this trip is going to be a challenge but so rewarding. My family for a year and hopefully for a lifetime will forever be Q squad and even more Team Mosaic!
