This month our ministry, Love Acts, focuses on bar ministry (see last blog for more details!). We spend the majority of our time in a red light district of Chiang Mai- essentially a street with bar after bar, the girls sit outside as the customers can come in and get drinks and flirt with the girls then take one home. These pictures are of the bar street as it's closed during the day. .

Same Same but Different bar is a bar where we met our first friend Mai that is the bar owner. We have gone back multiple nights to see her and try to build a relationship.
Marina is a Ladyboy bar that is close to my heart. Many of the girls have become our close friends and we love talking with them each night. This bar is a drag bar where the men dress up as women and some have even been physically changed.
This ministry has been so challenging to my team and I this month. It is a ministry in which we are all so passionate about but have a difficulty seeing fruit right away. We feel as though we are the seeders and not the harvesters for this ministry but have been welcomed so much by these bars. We have formed some connections but going deep with them is hard because of the language barrier and the cultural differences. We have seen much growth already and have hope in what the Lord is going to continue to do as we leave for our next ministry.
