We had gotten to India and didn’t have much ministry. As we began to pray things were changing and looking up for us. We began to start more ministries and really loving India. As all these things started to look up, I received an email from aim that said, “I needed to work on fundraising 20 hours a week”. I was so disappointed that now we had ministry and I couldn’t do it because I had to work on fundraising instead.
I honestly felt like I had no resources or ideas of how to make $1,400 appear in my account or what steps to take to make it happen. As I began to send out emails, pray and message supporters, money started showing up in my account. I got $100 in the first day. I then got in $300 the next day and needed under a $1000. I was blown away by the response that God had to my cry.
I still had no idea where $1000 would come from so I continued to pray and one night I was so frustrated because I had no idea what else to do or who else to ask. I asked God what else do you want me to do? Who else do you want me to contact? As I sat and listened he said, “Don’t, just sit and wait your response is on its way”. That night we went out to do ministry and when I came home an anonymous donor had offered to match any donation I received up to $600! I was in awe. The money started rolling in and when I looked the next day I only needed $800. They proceeded to provide the $600 that they promised and then different donations started to come in. I looked again at the account and needed $25 until someone offered that money as well.
I was in shock, I never honestly thought in a million years that I would be able to say fully funded. I thought that I would have to find a way to pay it myself or figure out how to take out a loan or something but my God is bigger than money. He has more than $1000 in his bank account and he hears my cry.
I read a quote in my jesus calling book “When you bring Me prayer requests, lay out your concerns before me. Speak to me candidly; pour out your heart. Then thank me for the answers that I have set into motion long before you can discern results. If you keep stating your concerns to me, you will live in a state of tension.”. That was amazing to me because it’s so true, you don’t have to repeat your requests to God once you have told him, he is working on it. Our Gods provision was amazing and I am so blessed!
