We officially completed the second race of the year with a first place finish once again!
I would love to write all the details of it, but that would take entirely too long so I’m going to post the video of it and link you to Andrew’s blog with everything you want to know about the race.

So now we are residing in

Antigua
,

Guatemala
until Saturday. It is absolutely beautiful here and we are having a great time as a whole group experiencing the city. On Saturday each team will separate to cover multiple regions of

Guatemala
in ministry.
We are currently praying for direction as to where God would lead us to serve him.

One thing that I learned from

Mexico
and will be beneficial for here is what ministry looks like.
At times, I believed that ministry needed to be a program with an outcome.
I wanted so badly to have amazing stories to bring to you about all the people in the village who were saved.
Due to all the traveling that we did in

Mexico
, we did not have time to develop a routine program, but we had the opportunity to love on four different villages.
  It was a beautiful privilege

The last week that I was in

Mexico
, we stayed in Jerusalen with our contact, Samuel.
At times I felt useless because we only had six days there and two of which we were not even in town.
My Spanish was not good enough to go and chat with people so I just walked around and smiled and used all five questions that I know on everyone I talked with.
We played a couple Soccer games and hung out with Samuel and Francisco.
I was a little discouraged about the lack of “ministry” that I had done until our final church service.
Francisco commented on what a blessing it was to share the week with us and how he saw the Love of God in each of us.
Even in the way that we loved each other.

So with that, I received an answer to what ministry is.
  Ministry is LOVE!
  Love God and Love people.

A part of the race was to go up to a cross that over looks the city and pray for an hour.
During that hour I felt God providing me the strength to love people in

Guatemala
the way that He loves them.
I have a lot of love to pour out to these people so please pray with me and for me that the Lord would guide our team to Love the lost in all the right places!

Thanks!
