Hey family! The holidays are underway and it has been a little bit hard I must say being away from family and friends during this time. Fortunately we have been able to have a ministry host that is from Oklahoma! Being in their home has been a blessing for our team. The Zuniga family are a family of 4 with 30 world racers in the home. It has been the closest thing to feeling like home in a chaotic fun way! We’ll be celebrating Christmas at the orphanage and having a Chinese Christmas dinner! There’s a first for everything!
Recently I have come into a position to ask of your help again. This is month 5 and we have 6 months to go! Our squad is on a tight budget . $5 a day for lodging and $5 a day for food $1 for breakfast $2 for lunch and dinner. With this minimal budget we often come out of pocket for a necessities throughout the month, food and snacks, and different adventures my squad partakes in.
I have been so grateful for every supporter and those that have wanted to help. Here I am asking for your help again in supporting me for the remainder of the race. I’m a woman on a tight budget and even with my tight budget I am still in a place of need. Here’s a breakdown of what money is spent on particularly every month.
Food-(Snacks during travel days, debreifs in main cities) $30-$60
Necessities(Body soap, shampoo, toothpaste, lotion, bug repellant, socks, long shirt, tights, and clothing attire for the cold)-$15-75
Adventure-(Hikes and local activities the squad participates in) $50-100
We will soon be traveling back to Peru and head to Machu Picchu and the lowest cost is $107 that doesn’t involve hiking the trail.
If you would like to continue supporting me along the way you can donate directly to me by using
1) Paypal- my email [email protected]
2) Square Cash- $CandaceRae
Because I am fully funded money that is donated on this page would not go directly to me but would be put in the World Race budget. So I would never see or use that money.
Thank you again for continuously supporting me financially and through prayer. This journey has been full of surprises and blessings and I am anticipating more to come.
