I decided to have a garage sale as a fundraiser to meet my deadline of $6,500 to be able to launch by September 10. So, I sold EVERYTHING I own.
- My bed
- My couches
- My living room furniture
- My clothing
- My T.V.
- My dresser
- My shower curtain
Just like that I realized there is no plan b… no turning back!
I had no clue that when I gave it to God, He would make it so big. Once again, He showed me why faith in Him is so important. He showed up like I didn’t even think He could. He rocked my world. I had so much stuff to sell that it took us literally all night to set up. My final profit after the garage sale was over $1,300 dollars. I know that my faith helped me out.
While going through all my things to get ready for the garage sale, I came across some things from my past. My past that continues to haunt me, that continues to say “you know you miss the life you had & the people in it.” I thought I had thrown away everything that would bring up the past. But, in that moment of being all emotional about getting rid of all my things, I heard the voice of the Lord saying to me, “Aren’t you excited that you get to start over & build a new life in MY name with MY blessing?” What?! Heck yes!
I’m so excited that God has chosen me to do His work, to be his hands and feet, & to touch the nations, but I can’t do this alone. God is using me but He needs to use YOU too! I need supporters that will be willing to give so that I can do what God has called me to do. I have never been more confident in wanting to do something.
