YO.

I’m Candace
I’m your far from average,
green eyed,
left handed,
Kinda tall,
slightly insecure,
confident,
spontaneous,
Indie music freak,
adrenaline junkie,
nature obsessed,
people lover

I try not to be defined by any of those things

I'm a lover of Jesus.
I'm loved by Jesus.

That is how I can be defined.

I’m a deep feeler and a thinker.
I love to laugh and make people laugh.
My family is baller – Shout out to the most hilarious, dysfunctional, disagree about everything, but love more than anything type of family.
I’m the baby of the family.
I sleep with my eyes slightly open.
coffee = yucky.
The first time I had a peanut butter jelly sandwich was less than a year ago.
Photography is my favorite.
I have lived in Texas all my life – And will willingly leave for some beautiful mountains and a beach.
I love to play sports and lay in hammocks, but don’t worry, not at the same time… that would be difficult.

My story:

About 5 years ago I came to know Jesus, but I also spent a lot of that time living in complete selfishness – Chasing after everything, and then falling to my face when my idols failed me once again. I was broken and I wasn’t allowing Jesus to change me. My faith was weak, my ability to love was dwindling, and my hope was almost gone.

I then went off to college and was amazed how much things changed. I was falling in love with Jesus. As a result, I was called to spend the summer In peru. I loved everything about it (besides the bugs and parasites. We did not get along). When I got back home, things got difficult so I tried to run from God. I could not see the beauty of refinement. I finally left Stephen F. Austin State University in the spring to come home and refocus.

To seek Jesus, and to find Jesus.

The story is still being written. I do not have it all together, but I will daily fall on my face before the Lord, humbly, asking for MORE of Him. So here I am: figuring it all out, searching, loving, and living for Him because He is good and so worth it.

I will shout His love from the rooftops,
I will dance in His freedom,
and I will live for His kingdom.

You with me?
