Going on the world race means that I will be living in community all. the. time. No avoiding it – even when I want to. However, I am weird and I feel like I should share some things about myself. Mainly so the people on my squad can prepare themselves for next year, and so you can laugh at me.
Like my friend that went on the race told me about the community, “It’s like marriage without the benefits.” And some lucky people will get to experience that with me…. (suckaaaaas)

Here we go:
- I lose my things like it’s my Job. In fact, I once lost my phone and found it in a shoe… a month later.
- I can’t multitask to save my life
Examples:
-
- I can’t listen and think.
- I can’t talk and drive.
- I can’t laugh and move.
- I can’t check out that really good looking guy and act like I’m not checking out that really good looking guy…. Wait, what?
- I never hear anything people say to me. I typically have to ask “what” 12 times before I understand, and yet I mumble like it’s in style.
- I’m a sleep talker/yeller. One time I woke up yelling “MOM” at the top of my lungs in a room of like 20 girls… how embarrassing!
- I dance in public. When I’m happy. When I’m sad. When I hear music. All the time.
- R rated movies still make me blush….
- I refuse to blow dry my hair because it takes out the yummy smell. (I suppose this is good considering I will not have a hair dryer on the race.)
- Eye contact intimidates me, and I often crack up laughing when I’m trying really hard to make eye contact with someone. I’m improving.
So there you go 8 things about me that are crazy/ weird/ embarrassing and I love them all. Get ready team…. You’re gonna love it.
