“A joyful heart is good medicine” -Proverbs 17:22a
Oh my goodness, I haven’t written a blog in a while! There has been so many wonderful things happening the past three months, so this blog will be a catch up sort of thing. First of all, let me tell you what God has been placing on my heart. I have been finding out my gifts that he has given me, the biggest one is joy. Recently, my life has been literally just going up positively and I feel like this is God’s perfect timing and I have been feeling full of kindness and joy. Let me tell you a quick story. So most of you may or may not know, I have been a cashier for 4 months now. It’s certainly quite an experience having to work retail all the time, let me tell you. But this allows for so many opportunities. Since I have started this job, it has allowed me to see how people quickly respond to a simple smile. Not only a smile, but getting to ask every costumer how they are doing that day and just asking what their week has been like/going to be like. Its truly amazing how with a small gesture like a smile will positively affect someone! This has encouraged me to always treat everyone will a joyful presence. When you are joyful, people tend to follow. This is just how God has created each one of us. Now you may be like “oh heckkk no I can’t smile 24/7.” That’s not what I’m getting at. I’m talking about how so simple it is to be just nice and happy to other humans. Love outweighs anything else in life. Being on this amazing pursuit of happiness, has filled me with a massive amount of peace and connection with not only with other people, but with our God. It’s really amazing how God is using me to uplift people with such small things.
I also want to thank each and every one of you who has supported me so far. My heart is so full, and I literally can’t believe how much God has provided to me and has remained so faithful to me. I love you all and stay rad. Word out.
