I woke up the morning of February 22nd, a cold brisk morning, if i do say so myself. As i was lying on the floor on our “couch,” I opened my eyes and realized that i couldn’t fully open my left eye and it hurt LIKE BOOTY-CRACK-CORN. My first thought was “I CANNOT HAVE PINK EYE WHEN WE GO TO SWAZILAND!” hahaha I get up, walked to the bathroom to freshen up for the day, and realized that i looked like THIS.

I run upstairs screaming “OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH.” I wake up my TL Alexus, and say “look at MY EYE!” She brushed it off, like always *rolls eyes,* so i womaned up and went to ministry. My teachers said “Take rest, take rest” and students just stared at my disturbing face. I went through the day, called my mom and sister, they ROASTED MY BUTT, laughing at me the whole time (i laughed too. I mean it was funny). By the end of the day, it was back down to almost normal.
I went to sleep that night, thinking that it was a one time fluke (LOL BUT IM CAMILLE TYREE AND MEGA ACCIDENT PRONED). I was supposed to wake up at 5 am to run a 10k, but i had a really bad nights sleep. I woke up multiple times throughout the night from discomfort but when my alarm went off at 5, I stumbled out of bed. The left side of my face was kinda hurting but i figured it was just lingering pain from my eye yesterday. I walked to the bathroom to splash water on my face, AND THIS IS WHAT I SAW….
I RAN upstairs to wake up my TL. My whole team woke up because i was being obnoxiously loud and they were all in shock. My TL said if it doesn’t go down we’d go to the doctor. I went to call my mom, and she of course was LAUGHING at me but also concerned because it looked really bad. All i could think was “the Kylie Jenner community is SHAKING.”
I took 2 Benadryl’s, fell asleep for a couple hours, woke up and went to the doctor. They gave me a shot in my butt, and told me i was allergic to pad Thai (BUT I HAVE BEEN EATING THAT FOR TWO MONTHS SO I KNOW IM NOT). I got home and my lip looked like this…
It eventually went down, but here’s the REAL TEA. We found out what happened. A COCKROACH LICKED MY SLEEP DURING MY SLUMBER. My face reacted so VIOLENTLY because I’m allergic to stupid cockroach saliva. And that is a typical week for Camille Janay Tyree.
