Hi everyone!
I’m coming on here to tell you all about the update to my trip!
So because of Covid, I will not be able to launch overseas in September but will instead be going to Gainesville, Georgia for 3.5 months! There I will be doing missional training, leadership development, and discipleship. After that I will then launch overseas from January to May!
While this is different than expected, I’m truly excited for this opportunity and think it will be a really great way to learn what missional living is all about and have a bit more of preparation before we launch overseas. I also believe this will be a really valuable experience for when I get home from the race! It’s always hard coming back to America after experiencing other cultures and all the things they don’t have that we do in the US. But going to Georgia will really help me when I come home because I’ll also have an idea of what kind of missions I can do in my own hometown. Missions doesn’t always have to be overseas 😉
God designed this plan for a reason and I can’t wait for all the amazing things I’m going to be able to do and learn throughout my whole 9 month trip 🙂
But with this in mind, I am still asked to fundraise the total $15,800 as living in Georgia and then going overseas is still quite expensive. I would SO LOVE and APPRECIATE if you donated!
