Hello Everybody!

If you’re reading this, chances are you already know me, but if not, welcome to my blog! No matter who you are, I am super thankful that you are taking the time to read my blog and about the AMAZING work God is doing in my life.

I am 20 and recently graduated from my second year at the Word of Life Bible Institute, where I was able to study the Word and learn how to live it out in my everyday life.

In the spirit of the World Race, I wanted to tell you 11 fun facts about myself:

  • I have lived in 6 different states since I was born, but New York has been my favorite!
  • I am half Puerto Rican and half Irish, but although I look Hispanic I do not speak any Spanish at all (sadly)
  • My favorite color is navy blue, for no better reason than I have at least 27 navy blue shirts in my closet
  • My favorite food is definitely beignets, which are like funnel cakes but jazzier
  • Speaking of beignets, I currently live in New Orleans, which is truly a unique and fascinating city
  • I recently became a barista at Starbucks (Pumpkin Spice Latte, anyone?)
  • I am currently taking classes online with Liberty University
  • Even though I am going to embark on the Race before I get my degree, I hope to come back and get a degree in English to become an ESL teacher in Asia
  • I LOVE musical theater, and acting in general, and I was able to use that passion to serve the Lord while I was at WOLBI
  • MY favorite book of the Bible is Lamentations (not as depressing as it sounds, I promise), but my favorite verse is Ecclesiastes 12:13
  • I am EXTRAORDINARILY excited to take part in this World Race Adventure, and I want you to join me!

You may be asking “How can be a part of your trip, are you going to stuff me in your suitcase?”. Even though I can’t bring you along with me, you can join me in two very important ways: prayer and reading. Pretty simple, right? I would like to ask you all to join me in prayer for the preparation for my trip financially, mentally, and spiritually. I would also ask that you subscribe to my blog to see my Race progress and what the Lord is teaching me!

I just want to thank you again for reading my blog, see ya next time!
