For the first time since high school I finally have a thriving social life. After I graduated high school the only thing I’ve done is work, and I really never made time to have a good group of friends to be around and hang out with. That’s all changed now! When I moved to Grapevine TX and began to attend C3 DFW I found a fantastic group of Jesus loving young adults that I quickly grew fond of. We have a great time at church as well as outside of church. My friends are always uplifting and encouraging and will always be there for each other. One of my favorite things we do as a group is we go to lunch after church every Sunday and during that time, no matter how small or large the group, we have our “High Low Time”. This is when we share our high and low of the week, where we saw God at work in our lives during the week, and a prayer request that we have for everyone to pray for. We also do a good job at actually hanging out during the week. Some weeks we’ll go bowling on Monday, or rock climbing on Tuesday, hang out with the youth students on Wednesday, or just simply hang out somewhere around town. It doesn’t matter what we’re doing or whether it has to do with church or not, we always make time to sow love and encouragement into each others lives. It really stinks to leave them behind. I wish I could take them along with me everywhere we go on the race, but I can’t. I’m so thankful to have such a beautiful group of friends and, I couldn’t have asked for a better group! Love you guys!!!
