· April WR training camp – meeting amazing, lifetime friends, burning bridges, roller-skating parties, and refocusing my life
· Reuniting with Lindsay and Jill and getting involved in their Bible study, and reuniting with other college friends over the summer
· Warped Tour 2007 with Erin in Charlotte
· The birth of my first blood nephew, Jacob Dawson Hickok
· Impromptu drive up to New York for two days in August
· Reuniting and catching up with Katie Bischoff on a roof in Bangkok
· My birthday at Angkor Wat and going out in Siem Reap
· White sand bars, snorkeling, and beach trips in the Philippines
TOP TEN THINGS I MISS FROM HOME:
· Family and friends
· Air-conditioning
· Baths
· Smells of autumn and winter – spices, snow, fires, etc.
· DVR, Blockbuster, and radio
· The smell and feel of Barnes and Noble
· Walking in the city, at night, in the early morning, through the snow in autumn, alone, with friends, etc.
· The smell of New York (don’t ask)
· My down comforter
· My dog, Micah
TOP TEN THINGS I AM EXCITED FOR IN 2008:
· Africa and Central America
· What I’ll get to see God do, what I’ll get to be a part of, the ways my team and I will grow, etc
· Seeing my family and how much all the kids have grown
· Learning to appreciate and enjoy the blessings I have back in the States
· A new job and paying off my debts
· Praying about where God wants me to go from here and seeing that pan out
· Theatre!
· Driving
· Decorating
· Learning to trust more on the Lord
